At The Animal Shelter Society, Inc., we believe every feline deserves a path to success. We have several "independent-minded" cats who have decided the indoor life isn't for them. These cats need a job, a safe territory, and a boss who appreciates their strong work ethic.

Our Barn Cat Program places healthy, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated cats into safe, outdoor working environments where they can thrive while providing natural pest control.

The Job Requirements We are looking for property owners with a barn, shop, workshop, or outbuilding who can provide:

·         A "Home Base": A secure, enclosed area (like a large kennel, room or tack room) where they can stay for 2 to 4 weeks to safely acclimate to the sights and sounds of your property.

·         Daily Rations: Reliable food and fresh water every day. (Myth buster: A well-fed cat is actually a better hunter. They deserve a proper paycheck for their patrol services.)

·         Shelter: A dry, safe place to sleep, stay warm, and escape predators and the elements.
