Kennel Assistant
(Part-Time)
This position is part-time and is responsible for husbandry duties for canines & felines, laundry and dishes, animal enrichments, assisting with public walk throughs, have open availability, be a team player and punctual.
Must be comfortable working with cats, dogs and other animals. The Shelter operates every day of the year and employees must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old.

Veterinary Technician
(Part-Time)
The position of Registered Veterinarian Technician at The Animal Shelter Society, Inc. will provide assistance to veterinarians with surgeries and wellness clinic and in providing medical care to our animals. RVT will also assist the Animal Care Manager as needed with assessing and handling animals in all areas of the Shelter and will be subject to working in all areas of the Shelter. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assisting with spaying/neutering of animals, assisting with other medical procedures, assist with wellness clinic and comply with all laws required for a RVT by the State of Ohio. The Shelter operates every day of the year and employees must be able to work a flexible schedule. Salary to commensurate with experience.
