The PAWS Volunteers
(Projects for Animals Waiting at the Shelter)
Mission Statement
"insure the well being and humane treatment of animals by seeking financial support for the Animal Shelter Society, Inc. and through education and population containment."
This group of dedicated volunteers was established in 1993 as the organizational successor to the longtime efforts of volunteers who have been integral to the Shelter's success from its earliest days.
To be a PAWS volunteer you must be an adult and like to work on small projects to raise money for the spay/neuter program which they run year round.
PAWS meets monthly to plan activities and publishes a newsletter with a mailing list of over 100.
